Important: The MemeTrade mobile app does not support connecting external wallets like MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet.

Setting Up Your Smart Account

Account Creation Process

  1. Download and Install

    1. Install TestFlight from App Store
2. Open TestFlight beta link
3. Install MemeTrade app
4. Open app to begin setup

  2. Choose Authentication Method

    Available Options:
- Face ID (iPhone X and newer)
- Touch ID (compatible devices)
- Device PIN/Passcode

  3. Smart Account Generation

- Cryptographic key generation

  4. Backup Key Setup (Recommended)

    EOA Backup Options:
- Import existing private key
- Import seed phrase
- Generate new EOA backup
- Skip (can add later)

EOA Backup Key Integration

What is an EOA Backup Key? An Externally Owned Account (traditional wallet) that serves as a recovery method for your smart account.

How It Works:

Smart Account (Primary)
├── Biometric Authentication (daily use)
├── Device PIN (backup authentication)
└── EOA Backup Key (recovery method)
    ├── Private Key or Seed Phrase
    └── Can recover smart account if device lost

Setting Up Backup Key:
