The MemeTrade mobile app uses smart account wallets for optimal user experience:

Important: The mobile app does not support "bring your own wallet". You'll create a new smart account, but can import an existing EOA as a backup/recovery key.

Getting Started with Trading
Mobile App Setup
Download and Install
Install TestFlight from App Store
Open TestFlight link
Install MemeTrade beta app
Create Smart Account
Open MemeTrade app
Choose authentication method (Face ID/Touch ID/PIN)
Your smart account is automatically created
Securely stored with biometric protection
Add Backup Key (Recommended)
Go to Settings → Security → Backup Key
Import existing EOA private key or seed phrase
This serves as recovery method for your smart account
Fund Your Account
Get your smart account address from Profile
Send Base ETH to your smart account
Use Base Bridge to bridge from Ethereum
Your First Trade
Step 1: Find a Token
Discover Tokens:
Browse "Trending" tab for popular tokens
Use "New" tab for recently created tokens
Search by token name or symbol
Check "Following" for tokens from friends
Token Information:
Current price and 24h change
Market cap and trading volume
Holder count and creator info
Price chart and trading history
Step 2: Analyze the Token
Key Metrics to Check:
Price Trend: Is it trending up or down?
Volume: High volume indicates active trading
Holders: More holders = better distribution
Creator: Check creator's reputation and other tokens
Liquidity: Ensure sufficient liquidity for your trade size
Risk Assessment:
🟢 Low Risk: High volume, many holders, established creator
🟡 Medium Risk: Moderate activity, some trading history
🔴 High Risk: New token, low volume, unknown creator
Step 3: Execute Your Trade
Buying Tokens:
Enter Trade Amount
Tap "Buy" button on token page
Enter ETH amount you want to spend
Or enter number of tokens you want to buy
Review Trade Details
See exact tokens you'll receive
Check price impact and slippage
Review creator fee (0-5% of trade)
Confirm total ETH cost including fees
Confirm Transaction
Review all details one final time
Authenticate with biometric (Face ID/Touch ID)
Transaction is batched and submitted
Receive confirmation when complete

What is Slippage? Slippage occurs when the execution price differs from the expected price due to market movement or low liquidity.
Slippage Settings:
0.1%: Very tight, may fail in volatile markets
0.5%: Good for stable, high-liquidity tokens
1.0%: Standard setting for most trades
2-3%: For volatile or low-liquidity tokens
5%+: Only for very illiquid or highly volatile tokens

Set Up Alerts:
Go to token page
Tap bell icon
Choose alert type:
Price Target: Alert when price reaches specific level
Percentage Change: Alert on +/- % change
Volume Spike: Alert on unusual trading activity
New ATH/ATL: Alert on all-time high/low

Buy Limit Orders:

Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA)
What is DCA? Buying a fixed dollar amount regularly, regardless of price.
